First I would like to welcome my classmates and professor for whom this blog is for. I have never blogged before but I keep a journal so I am hoping it is not too different.
This is the hard part for me, knowing how to start off....
My name is Stephanie and I live in Norfolk Virginia with my husband and our 18th month old, Caleb. We are originally from Georgia but in Norfolk because my husband is in the Navy. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and got married the day before my high school graduation in May of 2008. Then April 15, 2009 at 4:54am we welcomed Caleb Christopher, who is the sunshine of our lives. We are an outdoors family, we enjoy being outside every chance we get. The best part of being outside besides just being able to spend time with each other is watching our son explore and touch everything.
Brandon and I started dating in November of 2006 and have been best friends ever since. He is my hero, not a day goes by that he does not amaze me. He teaches me how to be slow to anger and how to forgive easy. I say that he is the nicer one between the two of us, he is just an all around good person. We have definitely been through a lot in four years. We are a multi racial family and being from the south that has added more than usual challenges to our relationship, but we have always worked with what has come our way. (And I'm sure at some point during this class you're going to read my blog baby and when you do know I LOVE YOU)
Oh Caleb Christopher, we love him so much! He has/is the best little boy God could ever bless us with. He is such a good baby I swear the next one is going to be our devil child, haha. I could just go on and on about him, like I am sure any mother could. He is a Daddy's boy for sure, his face lights up when he sees him. His biggest achievements in the past few months are swimming and being day time potty trained. He loves SpongeBob and air planes.
When I do get time to myself I love to read or journal. I used to draw and needlepoint, but I sadly do not have the time for it. My secret passion is taking pictures and doing different things with them, picture are so important to me.
Hope you guy enjoyed my first blog and come back for more!
